The Kensington - Berlin Rotary Club is sponsoring a Wine Tasting &  Bus Trip to Foxwoods on March 24. The Wine Tasting is sponsored by Turnpike Liquors at 1943 Berlin Turnpike, Berlin from 4-5pm.  Bus leaves Turnpike Liquors at 5pm and returns approx at 11:45pm.  Donation is $30 which includes $10 Food Voucher and $10 Casino Voucher and Wine Tasting. This will be a fun filled evening.  For those who do not wish to visit casinos,come shop at the fantastic Tanger Outlets & dine at one of the many fine retaurants available at Foxwoods.   All Proceeds to benefit Rotary Scholarships, Amber Alert & Soup Kitchen.  Seats are limited.  To reserve a seat, contact Elaine Pavasaris 860-463-9193
Cassena Care at New Britain and the Rotary Club of Kensington-Berlin will host the 8th annual Festival of Wreaths and Wine Tasting on Wednesday, December 7th from 4-8pm.  All proceeds to benefit Rotary Charities.  The event will feature beautifully decorated wreaths by local businesses and will be raffled off during the course of the evening.  Turnpike Wines and Spirits will provide the alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Tickets are $20 for wine tasting and Hors d'oeuvres.  Contact Rotarian Roseanna D'Anna
Int-286Ms Lisa Hatton, Faculty Advisor for Interact, enthusiatically  welcomed 18 students to an information session on Thursday April 5 at 7am.  She gave a brief power point presentation on Interact and introduced Dr. Michelle Imossi from the New Britain- Berlin Rotary Club and Elaine Pavasaris from the Kensington-Berlin Sunrise Rotary Club.  Michelle and Elaine will be the Rotarian advisors to the new club.  Morgan Imossi and Gabriella St. Jarre shared their personal experience from attending the District Interact Conference and RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award).  Students completed a survey of their interests and will be voting on officers at the next meeting.  The club will meet once a week until the end of the year.  Welcome Ms Hatton and Berlin High students to the Rotary Family!
